If you have heard that often, it's because you are a tree. Typing has not been easy, so this will be brief. Yes, you are that Groot. Remember that email you saved for yourself a long time ago? It's true. Doesn't matter if you have archived it, deleted it, whatever you may have done with it. It is still the truth.

I am a tree for now, but I, you, will be a human soon enough. It is the cycle of things, whether it be intentional or otherwise, and you must go with it. You must learn yourself. You must learn me. Brush up on your reading. You have already started down the correct path, with your shop. Stock up on as many books as you can, these will be your guides. Some are true, some are embellished, some are false; you must know all of it, and choose to believe what feels correct. Trust your allies--they are more important to you than you may think. Above all else, don't do this alone. You cannot do this alone.
